Getting the Shop Ready

After years of imagining what it would be like to start her own store, Robyn finally took the plunge into retail ownership. Nestled between galleries, coffee shops, and high end boutiques, Robyn Pandolph Design Studio opened it's doors for Robyn's 50th birthday party. But let me tell you, it wasn't all that fun in the six weeks leading up to the celebration.

Before:
We were lucky enough to get custom cabinets installed, here they are halfway through. The white curved triangle turned into our awning.

The installation of track lighting in a space with 20 foot ceilings means renting a scissor lift. It was helpful when applying the logo to the wall.

After:

With the fabric on the shelves it started to feel done.

Some engineering had to take place to put up the awning, but it was worth it.

This is the first time in a while that all of Robyn's quilts are in one place.

A quiet, little space for Robyn to design.

  4. Hey Baby Girl! Found you! I've been checking your site on a pretty regular basis to see if there was anything "new". Last nite I hit the jackpot when I visited Robyn Pandolph Design Studio! You continue to amaze me with your creativity, your sense of color, and everything you've accomplished in three (fast) years! Change is inevitable and I'm so happy for you and all the positive happenings. The party was great, the shop is looking fantastic, and I'll be there on the 28th (if not before). Much Love to You!
